Job Description

The Shipping and Logistics Supervisor is responsible for flowing down work order priorities and procuring all necessary materials and services to support operations and work orders. The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for supervising managing providing on-the-job training and motivating team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide their internal customers with correct products and services on-time.
  • Create communicate and accomplish daily department schedules.
  • Keep WOs and associated documentation with each part throughout the manufacturing process and providing documentation to their internal customer.
  • Retain part traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Keep Cetec order location data current and correct.
  • Follow processes as outlined in HWI 40801-20 and all other pertinent HCOA Operation Procedures or Work Instructions.
  • Ensure correct shipment of all orders hazardous material orders and examining work for exactness neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
  • Identify work procedures prepare work schedules and expediting workflow.
  • Implement procedures to improve quality productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure shipments are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Maintain relationships with carrier vendors and consistently resolves customer issues.
  • Ensure work areas are clean and free from Foreign Object Debris.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years related experience in shipping operations
  • 3 years experience in managing employees
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise Systems

Physical Demands / ADA Compliance

While performing the duties of this job the employee is constantly required to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery including but not limited to telephone mouse and keyboard. The ability to communicate and exchange accurate information so others will understand is required. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.


Hours: 7am-3:30pm. Occasional overtime. Background and Drug test required.
