Job Description: Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician II (Contract)
Location: Modesto CA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician II to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance calibration and repair of biomedical equipment at various healthcare facilities in the Modesto CA area. This position requires frequent travel to different locations so a valid drivers license and reliable transportation are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Install maintain calibrate and repair biomedical equipment
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
- Order parts and supplies as needed
- Document all work performed in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Provide training and support to healthcare staff on equipment operation
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment systems and components
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
