Job Description
- 5 weeks of annual leave per year
- Paid face to face training within your first 12 months of employment including TCI & CARE Training

About the role
As part our Team based in Grafton you will be responsible for leading motivating and mentoring a team of dedicated youth support workers within a therapeutic residential setting. Youll play akey role in supporting Children & Young People to develop independent living skills engage in education and remain positively connected to their team of Care Workers Families and broader community connections.
The Children & Young People we care for have experienced backgrounds of trauma abuse and/or neglect and may also have a mental health physical or psychosocial disability so you will work in partnership with a Therapeutic Specialist and Case Manager to lead the implementation of the CARE model and ensure a safe homelike environment for the Children & Young People in our care.
Skills & Experience
- A Diploma of Community Services Youth work or related (A qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience)
- Previous Leadership experience in services that support Children & Young people such as OOHC and ITC settings
- Experience supporting people with disabilities complex health needs and those whom exhibit pain based behaviours of concern
- Ability to provide supervision and support to a team
- Current First Aid (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011) & CPR (HLTAID001 OR HLTAID009) Certificate/s
- Current Drivers Licence
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check NSW Working with Children Check and NSW Residential Care Workers Register check.
