Job Summary:
North Knox CDJR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance demonstrating expertise in various systems and components. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills. Pay is based on experience and is Flat Rate.
Fully heated and cooled shop!
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on automotive electrical systems including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and powertrain components.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify problems accurately.
- Execute welding tasks as necessary for repairs or modifications.
- Provide auto estimating services to assist customers in understanding repair costs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair processes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality outcomes.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic with a solid understanding of automotive systems.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and equipment.
- Experience working with ADAS technology is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems schematics and powertrain components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour - depending on experience certifications and work completed
