Job Description
SWA is an award-winning international landscape architecture planning and urban design firm with offices in California Texas New York and Shanghai. We are currently seeking a talented design-oriented landscape architect in our Laguna Beach studio. Our work is recognized for its visionary aesthetics exceptional functionality keen understanding of social design and strong emphasis on environmental sustainability. Applicant must have 3 to 4 years professional experience.
Minimum Requirements:
in Landscape Architecture
design & hand sketching skills
with Auto CAD BIM Sketch-Up Lumion D5 Rhino Adobe Creative Suite Revit Microsoft Office and other advanced rendering platforms
ability in Construction Documents and Specifications
5. Project leadership & coordination with large teams
communication skills
to detail
time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time meet strict deadlines with problem-solving skills
familiarity with the practices of an international design firm
Successful candidate will work in a project team environment during all phases of design from conceptual design through construction administration/observation. Candidate should be innovative have strong ideas a responsible work ethic and be proficient in hand and digital graphics. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with clients sub-consultants and peers responsibly and professionally.
