Under general direction responsible for product and/or business services sales in order to reach the project profitability and billing levels so that clients are satisfied. Develops proposals assesses customer needs in order to recommend appropriate products/services. May customize product in order to meet client requirements. Provides technical support to clients after the sale of the product troubleshoots technical problems. Recommends product improvements to design staff in response to customer feedback. Visits clients in order to present companys products/services. Has thorough technical knowledge of all phases of the activity. Provides guidance to personnel with less knowledge in solving complex problems. Role typically requires more than 5 years of experience.Position Summary
The Sr. Technical Advisor position provides technical expertise in configuring supporting and optimizing combustion equipment for diverse heating applications. It plays a key role in developing and improving combustion solutions in collaboration with engineering sales marketing and production teams. Additionally the role is responsible for effectively executing technical projects tied to the opportunity pipeline while prioritizing activities that align with and advance the companys strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities
Application Configuration:
Customize and configure burners and control systems to meet customer and application-specific requirements ensuring safe and proper combustion.
Troubleshooting and Technical Support:
Diagnose and resolve escalated issues in the field or remotely; provide support to internal and external stakeholders.
Training and Documentation:
Develop user-friendly technical documentation and training materials; conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams.
Project Collaboration:
Support implementation of new products and upgrades; work cross-functionally on product launch and integration projects.
Technical Documentation:
Assist in the development of installation manuals technical specs troubleshooting guides cross reference materials and system configurations.
Quality Assurance:
Assist with challenging current manufacturing standards towards improving performance safety and regulatory standards.
Field/Industry Sales Support:
Provide technical support to the sales team during customer engagements including product demonstrations application assessments and technical consultations. Actively identify emerging trends in technologies applications regulations and legislation that may impact business objectives. Relay relevant insights to internal stakeholders to influence product development and strategic direction.
