As a Client Tax Specialist IV within the Securities Services Operations team you will conduct manual audits of tax forms to ensure accuracy before they are sent to customers and the IRS. You will have the opportunity to work on audit correction cases validate audit findings and collaborate with domestic partners for annual procedures recertification. This role allows you to utilize your analytical skills attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducts and manually audit reviews the applicable tax forms created by the line of business to ensure accuracy of the report that are sent to the customer and Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
  • Performs audit on correction cases and remediation files.
  • Validate all audit findings have been communicated to the line of business and corrected timely.
  • Work with domestic partners for annual procedures recertification.
  • Validate procedures effectiveness and timeliness and make suggestions as deems fit for efficient audit review. Communicate and document with partners with regards to failed audit root cause citations.
  • Manage workload assignments and complete audits within SLA.
  • Participate/Lead/ Recommend a business process improvement project.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • With high degree of analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to developeffective communication with our colleagues and management partners.
  • Able to execute multiple tasks.
  • Have a strong attention to detail and organizational skill.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Able to effectively utilize technology to fixed issues and increaseproductivity.

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:

  • Strong knowledge of MSP MBWS and Customer Assist is preferred.
