Job Description:
What Were Looking For
A team player who thrives in a service-oriented environment with strong attention to detail

Proven experience handling sensitive or confidential information with professionalism
Confidence interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
Familiarity with facilities coordination and service provider liaison work
Comfortable managing student workers and leading front office operations
Experience supporting events from planning to execution
Proactive communicator who ensures campus messaging and scheduling are clear and timely
Someone who takes initiative to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency
A problem-solver with a calm solutions-focused approach during emergencies
What Youll Be Doing
Coordinating all operational aspects of the Balboa campus including IT custodial facilities and public safety needs
Managing academic and external event scheduling using Coursedog for classrooms labs and conference spaces
Supervising front desk operations and mentoring student workers
Planning and supporting meetings and campus events on a daily weekly and monthly basis
Handling purchasing and inventory for office classroom and lab supplies
Preparing and coordinating logistics for events including travel agendas welcome materials and stakeholder communication
Serving as the administrative point of contact for external groups utilizing the campus
Supporting the refinement and communication of the campus Emergency Response Plan
Ensuring smooth execution of on-campus functions by liaising across departments and external vendors
Promoting a warm organized and professional campus environment
Qualifications
Minimum two years of administrative and clerical work
Excellent interpersonal skills to relate to students faculty staff and other members of the public with a friendly and flexible disposition
Strong organization skills ability to take initiative work independently prioritize tasks despite frequent interruptions
Ability to quickly learn and assist in the implementation of new software and new processes
Proficiency with MS Word PowerPoint and Google Mail along with an advanced understanding of Excel is required. Ability to quickly learn new software
Evidence of Christian commitment and active church addition staff agree to live in agreement with PLNUsCommunity Life Covenant.

Physical Requirements
Sitting for periods greater than one hour. Use of computer equipment: computer keyboard mouse and monitor.
Vision to read documents e-mail and other correspondence and reports on paper and computer monitor.
Ability to communicate effectively with others in person and by phone.
Will also stand stoop push pull and lift up to 10 lbs throughout the day.
