Step into Your New Role

As a Project Controls Specialist you will assist and support project managers and program managers with the development and organization

of project data such as costs budgets and reporting activities. This position is remote but will require the occasional visit to our

Hunt Valley MD office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the implementation of accounting methods budget tracking earned value status reports and cost projections based on
  • Project Managers direction.
  • Initiate project set-up and ensure contract compliance.
  • Support Project Manager and field team as needed
  • Prepare a combination of system and excel based invoices for submission to client and assist with AR collections.
  • Review subcontractor invoices for approval against contracts.
  • Maintain budgets for accurate reporting and invoicing.
  • Review project financial health and coordinate with Project Manager(s) as needed.
  • Collaborate with Project Controls team for ongoing training and process improvements.

Position Requirements:

  • Associate degree from a two-year college in finance business project management or related field preferred.
  • 4 years of related experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • General knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
  • A strong work ethic with excellent organizational communication and computer skills.
  • Eager to learn and continuously improve.
  • Adapt easily to new situations and challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint including intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with Deltek Vision a plus.

Maryland: The expected salary range for the position is displayedin accordance withthe Maryland Wage Transparency Law. Finalagreed upon

compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.Salary range: $60000.00 - $100000.00.
