Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is seeking a faithful enthusiastic and dedicated Kindergarten Aide to support our Kindergarten ideal candidate will assist in creating a faith-filled engaging and nurturing environment where young children can learn explore play and grow. Job Title: Part-Time Kindergarten Classroom Aide
Location: Blessed Sacrament School Morton IL
Reports To: Kindergarten Teacher and Principal
Hours: 30 hours per week/$15 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
This position is for 1st semster only. It ends Dec 19th.

At Blessed Sacrament School we are committed to forming young disciples of Christ. Our Kindergarten
Classroom Aide will play a vital role in nurturing the hearts and minds of our youngest learners by
modeling a life of faith humility and joyful service.

Position Summary:
The Kindergarten Classroom Aide supports the lead teacher in creating a Christ-centered nurturing and
engaging learning environment. This role is ideal for someone who desires to lead children to Jesus by
being a bona fide believer a seeker who surrenders with a servants heart.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities.
Provide individual and small-group support to students especially in early literacy math and faith
formation.
Model and encourage Christ-like behavior prayer and reverence in the classroom.
Help maintain a safe clean and organized classroom environment.
Support students in developing social-emotional skills rooted in Gospel values.
Supervise students during recess lunch and transitions as needed.
Participate in school liturgies prayer services and faith-based activities.
Collaborate with the teacher and staff to foster a joyful mission-driven school culture.

Qualifications:
A practicing Catholic who actively seeks to grow in faith and live out the Gospel.
A heart for young children and a desire to serve with humility and joy.
Experience working with children in an educational or ministry setting preferred.
Ability to follow directions take initiative and work collaboratively.

Patience flexibility and a positive attitude.
Must pass background checks and complete diocesan safe environment training.
