Job Description

Urgent Team is looking for an experienced Credentialing Specialist to join our corporate office in Nashville TN (Green Hills). This position is responsible for the daily credentialing on-boarding and payer enrollment functions for all physicians and midlevel providers. This position is located in Green Hills and will work a typical Monday-Friday schedule. A hybrid schedule may be possible after training.

UCA Accreditation demonstrates an organizations overriding commitment to safety quality and scope of services. Additionally 17 centers are designated Rural Health Clinics which provide access to primary care services for patients in rural communities.

Based in Nashville TN the Urgent Team Family of Urgent Care & Walk-in Centers delivers care in five states through eight distinct brands: Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care Baptist Urgent Care Washington Regional Urgent Care Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care Physicians Care Urgent Team Sherwood Urgent Care and Baptist Health Urgent Care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for the provider credentialing/on-boarding process prior to a new physician or midlevel provider working
Responsible for the payer enrollment process for all physicians and midlevel providers
Responsible for the re-credentialing and re-enrollment of current physicians and midlevel providers
Maintain high level of expertise in credentialing and payer enrollment rules regulations and standards regarding Federal and multi-state policies that affect payer enrollment and company revenue
Assist in the maintenance development and implementation of the credentialing process and procedures
Attend pertinent internal and external meetings
Perform data management and reporting from Echo One/Symed database and ancillary systems
Generate and present ideas for improvement

WHATS REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year experience in medical or related field with a thorough understanding of provider credentialing and payer enrollment
Excellent writing and communication skills
Good organizational and project management ability
Comfortable extracting and formatting data for ad hoc report requests
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
