Job Description
At Always Best Care we provide compassionate high-quality in-home care for seniors and individuals needing support with daily living activities. We take pride in offering care that emphasizes personal dignity safety and emotional well-being. As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area we are expanding our team and are looking for dedicated caregivers and CNAs to join us.
We are urgently hiring for a caregiver or CNA to assist a mature client in Sugar Land TX (77479). This role requires experience with dementia care and the ability to remain patient and calm in challenging situations.
Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Sugar Land TX 77479)
Shifts Available:
Wednesday Thursday Saturday 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Tuesday 2:15 PM to 7:15 PM
Responsibilities:
Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance to elderly clients including but not limited to medication reminders meal preparation light housekeeping and personal care.
Monitor and track client health and well-being and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor.
Provide companionship and emotional support especially for dementia care needs.
Assist with errands appointments and transportation as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities.
Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean and healthy environment.
Communicate effectively with clients families and supervisors to ensure the best care for clients.
Requirements:
Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Prior caregiving experience with dementia patients strongly preferred.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal but not required.
Ability to pass a background check and reference check.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy patience and a calm demeanor in challenging situations.
Must be comfortable around dogs (client has pets in the home).
Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
