Job Summary
The Manager Destination Operation oversees end-to-end tour operations within the assigned zone ensuring smooth execution cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction. This role partners with multiple departments to maximize performance manage vendors and enhance tour products while leading a team to deliver high-quality travel experiences aligned with company goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the Destination Operation team to achieve business objectives.
- Plan implement and enhance tour products and customized packages (MICE TSP special tours).
- Manage relationships with suppliers negotiate favorable contracts and ensure cost control.
- Monitor and track all tour operations (pre during and post-trip) to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Oversee tour inspections and conduct training for operations service and sales teams.
- Handle problem resolution in tour operations and ensure service recovery when needed.
- Prepare quotations cost reports and financial tracking of tour operations.
- Maintain strong partnerships with ground handlers and vendors to ensure service quality.
- Provide regular reporting (weekly and monthly) on operations and cost performance.
- Support continuous improvement in processes service delivery and product competitiveness.
Main Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration (Tourism/Hospitality preferred). Equivalent experience accepted.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years in tour operations with at least 1 year in management.
- Travel industry experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) MS 365 Google Workspace SharePoint and project management tools.
- Strong organizational negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects work under pressure and deliver results.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence teams and stakeholders.
- High integrity proactive mindset and strong relationship-building skills.
