Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance services to our clients in the Columbus area. This is a full-time on-site position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software systems at client sites
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients in a timely and professional manner
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware software and network connectivity
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement solutions to complex technical problems
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company and client standards and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of all service calls including time materials and actions taken
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve skills and knowledge
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide training on new systems and technologies as needed
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures while on client sites
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role preferably in a field service or customer support environment
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware software and networking systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
