Your Role:

As a Veterinary Assistant youll play a vital role in delivering smooth stress-free visits for our patients and their families. From prepping exam rooms to comforting nervous pets your support helps our clinic run efficiently and compassionately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
  • Safely restrain pets during treatments and diagnostics
  • Administer medications and vaccines under supervision
  • Maintain clean and organized exam rooms kennels and surgical areas
  • Monitor patients post-procedure and report any changes in condition
  • Educate clients on pet care and treatment instructions
  • Support front desk operations when needed (check-ins phone calls etc.)
  • Keep accurate medical records and help with inventory management

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting preferred
  • A genuine love for animals and a strong desire to learn
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Reliable proactive and a true team player
  • Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs and being on your feet for extended periods
