About the role
The candidate will be responsible to maintaining and growing banking relationships with FI and NBFIs as part of the overall Singapore Corporate Banking strategy.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and handle the existing FI/NBFI accounts and closely work with the team to selectively and gradually grow the FI/NBFI segment portfolio for the bank.
- Handle customers inquiries liaise and develop relationships and businesses with Head Office domestic branches overseas branches and inter-departments as well as corporate customers
- Structuring the credit facilities (including the indicative loan term sheet) negotiating trade solutions with clients putting up and obtaining credit approvals execution of approved facilities in accordance to credit approval and the follow up facilities documentation and review.
- Oversee the entire transaction process from origination to execution and ongoing monitoring.
- Cross selling banks services and products (ex: Deposit TMU DCM)
- Ensure compliance of trade finance and loan products with regulators (MAS / FSC) and with internal policy guidelines.
- Perform and handle on credit application credit review internal risk rating and any ad-hoc periodic or non-periodic reports/data/statistics required
- Identify loan syndication and sustainable financing opportunities
- Prepare and monitor bilateral borrowings and syndication facilities
- Manage AML KYC CDD regulatory and compliance matters etc.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in front line corporate banking handling FI and NBFI
- Good knowledge in banking landscape across products.
- Proficient in spoken and written English/Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking
- headquarter counterparties.
