Schedule: MondayFriday 7:15 AM to 2:30 PM (School Days Only) Summer Hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Off July) Position Summary: The School Secretary serves as the first point of contact for students families and visitors and plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the school office. This position requires excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills as well as a commitment to the schools core values of Empathy Equity Respect and Community. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support Manage daily office operations including answering phones responding to emails and greeting visitors. Maintain student records attendance and enrollment data using school information systems. Prepare and distribute school communications newsletters and announcements. Assist with scheduling meetings appointments and school events for the school and Principal. Student & Family Engagement Serve as a welcoming presence for students and families providing information and support as needed. Coordinate with families regarding attendance early dismissals and student health needs. Staff Support Provide clerical support to teachers and administrators including copying filing and data entry. Assist with organizing professional development days and staff events. Maintain inventory of office and classroom supplies and place orders as needed. Compliance & Recordkeeping Ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation to the district or archdiocese. Maintain confidentiality of student and staff records in accordance with FERPA and school policies. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred). Prior experience in a school or office setting preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office School database systems (e.g. FACTS/RenWeb) proficiency is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a welcoming inclusive environment. We welcome bilingual applicants and consider language skills an asset.
