Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations at Sweetwater Brewing. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient flow of raw materials packaging supplies and finished goods while maintaining high standards of safety cleanliness and inventory accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials packaging supplies and finished products using inventory management systems.
  • Receiving & Shipping:Oversee the receiving of inbound shipments and the timely and accurate shipping of outbound orders including coordination with distribution partners.
  • Team Leadership:Supervise and train warehouse staff fostering a culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Logistics Coordination:Work closely with production sales and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of products.
  • Safety & Compliance:Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Process Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Equipment Maintenance:Ensure all warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts pallet jacks) is properly maintained and operated safely.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in warehouse management preferably in a food/beverage or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and logistics software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse machinery.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced brewery environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
  • Passion for craft beer is a plus!
