The Southport School is a leading Anglican Day and Boarding School for boys situated on the banks of the Nerang River in the heart of the Gold Coast. The Southport School (TSS) has been established for 121 years and is committed to providing excellence in leadership learning and teaching pastoral care and extra-curricular endeavours within a balanced holistic Christian environment. The School has a vibrant boarding academic cultural and sporting program that extends across the full year and two campuses.
The Southport School is now seeking a Permanent Full-Time Teacher of Mathematics to join our team commencing Term 4 2025. Experience in teaching middle school Mathematics (Years 8 & 9) and Year 10 Mathematics Methods highly regarded.
We would like to work with and support candidates who have a passion for boys education and who understand how to engage students through their innovative and student focused teaching practices.
In support of our School values of Teamwork Scholarship and Service we would like to engage with candidates who are relational in their teaching style whilst still ensuring a strong academic ethos in their classroom. Additionally we encourage our team to engage with our community outside of the classroom through our diverse co-curricular and extra-curricular programs including working closely with our Boarding community.
