The role
The Tax Analyst assists the Tax team with tax affairs for entities in the ANZ Region and their network of global branches and subsidiaries. This position supports tax compliance matters including income tax return preparation and consolidation of the SMEC Group tax effect accounting for statutory and internal reporting. It will also support the provision of tax advice on projects.
This is a 12-month fixed-term role based out of our Melbourne office.
This position supports the Tax Managers and Tax Lead in reviewing the SMEC Group provisions to ensure that the Effective Tax Rate of the Group is monitored managed and clearly communicated to senior stakeholders.
