Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Vocational High School Electrical Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems and a commitment to providing students with the practical skills and knowledge needed for successful careers in the electrical Responsibilities: Curriculum Development: Design and implement a comprehensive electrical curriculum that aligns with MA DESE standards and incorporates hands-on training and real-world applications. Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective instruction in electrical concepts including residential commercial and industrial wiring electrical code compliance safety practices and troubleshooting techniques. Assessment: Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and practical skills providing timely feedback to support student growth and development. Classroom and Lab Management: Establish and maintain a positive safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation collaboration and hands-on learning. Collaboration: Work closely with other vocational program instructors to integrate electrical skills into broader vocational training ensuring students receive a well-rounded education. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance instructional practices and stay updated on industry trends technologies and best practices in electrical training. Parent and Community Engagement: Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and foster relationships with local electrical businesses and organizations to support student learning and job placement. Advisory Role: Act as a mentor or advisor to students assisting them with academic challenges and guiding them in career exploration and job readiness.
