Job Description
What Youll Do:
- Support the Ring Forgings and Rotor Machining Strategic Sourcing team in key areas of quality delivery and product cost out.
- The selected candidate will be interacting with cross-functional teams and be exposed to senior leadership both internally and externally at suppliers.
- Lead tariff mitigation plans thru RFQ process and supplier evaluation on Retaining ring Unison rings and Inducer Seals.
- Engage in the qualification process to track key FAS qualifications and further develop/automate the qualification resource planning tool.
What youll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Engineering or Supply Chain.
- Minimum of 3.0 / 4.0 overall GPA.
Other Eligibility Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship both now and in the future.
Potential Locations Include:
Greenville and Atlanta

The pay for this position ranges from $21.00/hr - $34.00/hr based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed
This position is also eligible for:
- Relocation Assistance:Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable proper and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
- Housing Allowance:Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Interns permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
- Employee Assistance Program providing 24/7 confidential assessment counseling and referral services
- GE Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans. (Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.
