Investment Services Private Markets(ISPVM)

ISPVMisthe department responsible forprivate markets investment services across the GIC group. It is responsible for providing deal structuring and closing portfolio monitoring valuation finance operations tax data management and analytics services in the execution of private marketsinvestments in Real Estate Private Equity PrivateCreditand Infrastructure. It isalso involved in financial reporting and accounting of investment holding companies as well as operations and financial due diligence for asset operations.

What impact can you make in this role

We are looking for a suitable candidate to work with a team on a transformation project overseeing the integrity and accuracy of our Investment Book of Records (IBOR) ensuring our data governance standards are upheld but also enable data-driven decisions by our investment teams. Youll work with systems and innovative tools to enhance our reference data management processes enabling seamless data integration and accessibility across the organization. What will you do as an Associate Data Management

  • Support the implementation of new capabilities in an enterprise data project for private markets
  • Participate in developing business user requirements and ensuring they are delivered according to the project plan
  • Monitor and communicate project progress identify and mitigate risks ahead of time
  • Perform data migration activities in relation to system implementation
  • Develop project-related documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and training of end users
  • Assist in enterprise related data initiatives as part of the private markets representation

What qualifications or skills should youpossess in this role

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Information Systems or related fields of study
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience preferably in the financial services industry
  • Experience in data projects and data management with strong hands-on understanding of data governance principles and practices
  • Committed and motivated individual who is meticulous and enjoys working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Good project and time management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge in data finance and private markets related domains is a bonus
