Roofing Estimator at NSS Maintenance
30000 - 35000 per annum (DOE)

The Division
NSS Maintenance are a working at height contractor working throughout UK servicing facilities management clients and the refurbishment industry alike.
Our national coverage operates from four UK depots to offer planned and reactive building fabric maintenance and refurbishment services to commercial retail and industrial sectors. We currently employee over 600 employees directly across the NSS Group and own a fully serviced truck mounted access fleet which we use in house for reactive and planned maintenance and cleaning requests

The Role
As a Senior Estimator youll lead on pricing and quoting for roofing and maintenance works supporting our contract delivery teams while driving commercial success. You will:
- Estimate a variety of project types and scales across the sector
- Deliver quotations within SLA timeframes with clear cost breakdowns
- Maintain transparent documentation for contract management teams
- Liaise with suppliers subcontractors and clients to build strong relationships
- Conduct site surveys for high-profile opportunities
- Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to ensure accurate data capture
- Work with Operations Management to set and track conversion targets
- Identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities
- Introduce and develop new supply chain partnerships
- Contribute to continuous improvement across estimating processes
About you
Were looking for someone who is:
- Skilled in working with schedules of rates and spotting commercial opportunities
- Experienced in quoting across smalllarge projects including tenders
- Strong in technical knowledge of roofing coatings and dilapidations
- Confident managing multiple stakeholders at all levels
- Able to balance autonomy with collaboration supporting colleagues with technical advice
- Commercially savvy client-focused and highly organised
- Proactive adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledgeable in H&S legislation and ensuring compliance in all estimates
