Job Description

  • 84 months data analytical background experience with business intelligence tools to design reports( for example OBIEE SQL Microsoft Excel) or data analysis business solutions for operational reports.

  • 84 months experience in quality assurance testing of reports SQL analytics Oracle SQL knowledge managing defects development of report user acceptance documents including test plans.

  • 60 months experience soliciting report requirements end user documentation development specifically business reporting requirements documents (BRDs) use cases report mockups wire frames and flow diagrams

  • 60 months experience with all phases of support specifications development including design testing and maintenance of reports.

  • 60 months experience with developing end user training materials for use of Analytics Dashboards and/or Business Intelligence or application reports.

  • 60 months experience developing and implementing system and work-flow processes in an Business Intelligence environment.

  • Bachelors degree in business intelligence information science criminal justice health science computer science mathematics or public/business administration.

  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).

Detailed Job Description:

  • The Application Optimization project aims to modernize multiple business applications that the Office of Mental Health (OMH) uses that are supported by ITS. Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) reports are being developed and will replace the existing reports in the Fiscal Integration System (FIS) application.

  • FIS is an OMH System used by Patient Resource Offices (PRO) to track all aspects of Inpatient and Outpatient movements and financial status as well as classifies individuals by age/program/legal status. FIS presents a consolidated picture of a patients OMH status and financial status. The objective of this part of the project is to rewrite the reports and modernize the user experience pertaining to reports. The business analyst will collaborate with OMH business owners of FIS and project team members to ensure a cohesive approach to business analysis data management and quality through all phases of project implementation as it pertains to reports.
