Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Collect analyze and input trauma patient data into the Trauma One Registry.
- Ensure accurate and timely data abstraction for trauma accreditation and compliance.
- Apply ICD-10 AIS08 and AIS15 trauma coding to cases.
- Maintain compliance with state and national trauma registry guidelines.
- Collaborate with the trauma team on performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Recent experience with EPIC EMR and Trauma One Registry required.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 AIS08 and AIS15 trauma coding required.
- Experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity.
- Certified Specialist in Trauma Registries (CSTR) certification preferred.
