Job Description:
Security Clearance:
- TS/SCI
Education/Certifications Mandatory:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Computer Engineering Software Engineering or related engineering discipline
- TS with SCI Eligibility
Work Experience Mandatory:
- 7 years experience with cloud migration projects.
Education/Certifications Nice To Have:
- Masters degree in computer science Computer Engineering Software Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- Azure Solutions Architect certificate.
Work Experience Nice To Have:
- Working experience with DOD OIG
Roles And Responsibilities:
- Compute services (e.g. virtual machine virtual machine scale sets Container instance management service fabric batch etc.).
- Storage and backup services (e.g. file storage object storage queue storage archival services block-based storage).
- Networking services (e.g. virtual network application gateway VPN gateway DNS services. Load Balancing).
- Security and IAM services (e.g. Active directory firewalls advance threat protection and cloud based SIEM DDoS protection).
- Database management services.
- Monitoring and management tools (e.g. system wide cloud resources and application monitoring and management alarms log analytics auto scaling cost optimization dashboards and management portal).
- Coordinate and manage with cloud operations teams as applicable for seamless/improved services experience and higher end users customer satisfaction.
The Contractor shall:
- Support the design governance and architecture of compute environment in cloud environment.
- Develop workflows for on demand IaaS provisioning.
- Draft 50
- Identify the integration points essential for self-service IaaS provisioning.
- Manage additional supporting services for the core compute services in the environment (such as dynamic auto-scaling container management load balancing).
- Support and perform migration of virtual machine (VM) and platforms from on-premises to the cloud and vice versa.
- Export an existing running instance or a copy of an instance and into Customer required image format (e.g. a VMDK OVF or VHD file).
- Change regions and/or subscriptions in accordance with services provided by the Cloud Service Provider.
- Create and configure infrastructure templates and blueprints for IaaS provisioning.
- Modify existing templates for configuration change.
