Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Develop AI and Machine learning solutions and leverage rapid prototyping and agile methodologies to bring solutions to market. Drive workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies. Architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize technology processes. Execute creative solutions for the design development and technical troubleshooting. Consider upstream and downstream data and systems or technical implications and advise on mitigation actions. Produce operational and development expertise in building proactive monitoring. Contribute to auto heal and recovery during system failures. Gather analyze synthesize and develop visualizations and report on application and system health uptime performance improvements change and capacity management of the services supported. Collaborate with development team throughout the software development life cycle to help build software for reliability. Identify and analyze patterns of incidents conduct post-mortems develop permanent remediation plans and implement automation to prevent future incidents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Masters degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science Information Technology Information Systems or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as Infrastructure Engineer DevOps Engineer Software Engineer IT Consultant Devops Research Assistant or related occupation. The employer will accept pre- or post- Bachelors degree experience. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science Information Technology Information Systems or related field of study plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or as Infrastructure Engineer DevOps Engineer Software Engineer IT Consultant Devops Research Assistant or related occupation. The employer will accept pre- or post- Bachelors degree experience.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: leveraging the following log aggregation tools: Splunk data dog ELK stack and Grafana. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: at least one of the following cloud platforms: AWS Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes for deploying and scaling AI/ML solutions; leveraging SQL and Python for data preprocessing techniques including data cleaning normalization and augmentation; leveraging IAC tools such as terraform Chef or Ansible to deploy and manage cloud infrastructure. This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: hosting or collecting metrics through the use of Prometheus. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: statistical analysis and probability theory to implement both supervised and unsupervised machine learning methods; generating technical documentation with troubleshooting guides product overviews usage guides and management reporting; implementing best- practice security practices through integration of at least 1 of the following Active Directory Federated Services solutions: OIDC SAML or x509; Governance Assurance reporting specifically around control procedures; adhering to software regulator audits. Experience in the skills may be gained through pre- or post- Bachelors degree experience.
