Job Summary
As Senior Accountant Traffic Solutions you will drive accounting and reporting activities through diverse financial responsibilities including month-end closing monthly reporting budgeting activities and other ad-hoc analyses.
You will report to the Accounting Manager. You will work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days in office based in Greensboro NC or Pittsburgh PA.
Key Responsibilities
Review and approve JEs from staff accountants preparing necessary journal entries for leasing and fixed asset activity ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting principles (US GAAP).
Conduct monthly reconciliations of leases and fixed assets.
Provide financial analysis and reports to management to support decision-making.
Drive process optimization and standardization across team
Support audit and other internal control activities as needed
Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with 3 or more years of experience.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting and application.
CPA designation would be advantageous but not required.
A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills; Solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to collaborate closely with all levels of an organization and be a part of a team.
Regular travel to corporate office in Greensboro North Carolina.
