St Patricks Primary School Cessnock is on the lookout for the next Library Assistant; this is a permanent part time position working 6 hours a day on Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays!
Description
The School Officer/Library Assistant:
- As a member of the library team works to support teachers and students utilising Library facilities and resources
- As a member of the school team works to support nominated staff in the performance of their duties
Skills And Experiences
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
- Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic Education and the mission of the Church through Catholic schools
- Recent experience working in a school library including working knowledge of OLIVER cataloguing system
- Knowledge of WHS requirements in a library setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to show initiative work alone or as part of a team
- A flexible approach to completion of tasks with frequent interruptions
QUALIFICATIONS
- ALIA accredited qualification preferably at the diploma level
- Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number
- Completion of anaphylaxis training

Salary is in accordance with New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023.
