St Patricks Primary School Cessnock is on the lookout for the next Library Assistant; this is a permanent part time position working 6 hours a day on Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays!

Skills And Experiences

EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA

  • Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic Education and the mission of the Church through Catholic schools
  • Recent experience working in a school library including working knowledge of OLIVER cataloguing system
  • Knowledge of WHS requirements in a library setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to show initiative work alone or as part of a team
  • A flexible approach to completion of tasks with frequent interruptions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • ALIA accredited qualification preferably at the diploma level
  • Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary is in accordance with New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023.
