Job Description

At our Jnkping factory we produce world-class Diamond Toolsfrom metal powder granules to the final assembly of blades drills and chains. Our production is diverse and dynamic handling both high and low volumes with flexibility at its core. Were expanding taking on new volumes from across the globe. Here international cross-functional projects blend with hands-on work on site offering a unique experience for nearly every team member.

About the role:
In the role of Production Quality Engineer you will be responsible for securing and developing our processes methods and ways of working to take the next step in our quality efforts. Furthermore you will work on:

  • Improving structure and shared working methods within the team and at the interfaces with other departments through close collaboration.
  • Developing cooperation between production production engineering planning and quality as well as with adjacent departments to ensure that we as a factory can achieve our set goals and prepare for future opportunities and challenges.

You will play a key role in monitoring supporting and developing quality work on an operational tactical and strategic level. Within the scope of production engineering you will also have the opportunity to lead change and investment projects such as those related to digitalization.

About You
Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities technical knowledge in quality and your ability to lead and engage in change initiatives and projects.

  • You should have a strong interest in change management and understand both the effort and the content involved in a transformation journeyequally focusing onwhatneeds to change andhowto implement the change in the best possible way.

To thrive with us you are a humble structured meticulous and unpretentious person who can independently drive work forward.

Your Skills and Background

  • Relevant university degree for example in Mechanical Engineering with Industrial Economics and Production or equivalent work experience as a production engineer with a focus on quality.
  • Experience in project and change management and in working with various quality tools within Lean Production and Six Sigma. Experience with digitalization and/or automation is a plus.
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English spoken and written.

Location
Our team is based at our site in Jnkping (Ljungarum) where we believe in the value of working closely together. While some flexibility exists we aim for on-site presence as collaboration is at the heart of how we work.
