As the Site Manager your purpose is to support Community Activity services by following a person-centred support model to help people we support develop independence confidence self-esteem and social interaction skills. About this role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to lead operations at our Learning and Lifestyle centre in Norman Gardens Rockhampton. This key role involves not only overseeing operations but also guiding and motivating a dedicated team. This is aPermanent Full-timeopportunity offering a chance to make a lasting impact on our community and foster growth within your team.
You will be responsible for delivering high quality person centre supports to people with disability both in the centre and in the community within a sustainable business model. You will lead a team to deliver supports that develop independence confidence self-esteem and social interaction skills.
Day to day responsibilities may include:
- End-to-end management of a community site personalised planning and development for all people with disability.
- Developing a team environment where employees can identify and solve problems to ensure the personalised planning process translates into action
- Ensuring team members are fully trained and aware of individual client requirements with shared documentation.
- Supervising a team of Support Workers to maintain effective site operations and mitigate operational challenges.
- Developing implement and review person centred agreements and products for new and existing individuals.
What you can bring to the team:
- A Bachelors degree in human services or related field
- Experience with successfully managing site-based services within a related industry such as the Disability Sector and experience within Community services support for people with a disability.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching individuals to including to people with complex requirements to achieve set outcomes and desired behaviours within the workplace.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the National Standards Disability Services Quality & Safeguarding Framework disability services provision and NDIS.
- Interpersonal and communication skills required to grow relationships with team members and stakeholders and lead through adversity.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work) and an open Drivers License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle.
