- Lead the development of new OLED fabrication technologies to meet the performance requirements of a wide range of display products - Closely collaborate with cross-functional display teams and manage vendor activities - Drive display & component supply manufacturers aggressively on technical innovation to achieve desired OLED panel performance and features - Conduct technical risk assessment root cause analysis failure analysis and design of experiments to understand fundamental OLED and process physic; drive associated solutions and corrective actions - Quickly solve problems during technology development and product implementation stages; transition from proof of concept to high volume mass production
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering physics materials science mechanical engineering or related fields and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
2 years of experience and proven track record with one of the following: OLED display manufacturing OLED evaporation / encapsulation process OLED device physics optical & material characterization or related OLED display process
Masters or PhD
Experience with various OLED processes: lithography-based OLED inkjet printing vapor jet printing quantum dot white OLED etc.
Experience with early-stage technology evaluation and development
Experience with simulation and analysis: Direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) structural / thermal Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Ability to model OLED evaporation encapsulation color filter process or photolithography
High degree of flexibility able work autonomously and creatively drive project results independently
Able to handle multiple projects programs and strategic development efforts without direct supervision
Strong communication skills to facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration with diverse teams and cultures
