POSITION SPECIFICS
The Larson Transportation Institute is looking for an Outreach Coordinator for general administrative functions of a wide variety of academic or administrative units; including greeting/referring/assisting visitors customers or staff; preparing documents and reports; compiling records; scheduling meetings; organizing and maintaining information; coordinating calendars; analyzing data including budgetary expenditures; and providing general office support.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate Transportation Engineering and Safety Conference
Work with the steering committee and conference chairs to create an agenda
Work with Penn Stater and Conferences and Institutes on logistics
Lead activities on the week of the event
Coordinate LTI outreach activities
Develop and lead a regular webinar series to showcase the latest LTI research
Liaison with COE Communications
Work with COE communications to update the LTI website and the affiliate center websites
Work with the Director on the LTI newsletter
Work with the Director on LTI faculty affiliate updates
LTI social media
Final report documentation and archiving
Obtain final reports from project PIs for archiving
Help print/mail final deliverables for projects as needed
Assist with administrative and budgetary functions
Help with annual charge-out rates
Help organize faculty general funds spend planning and documentation
MINIMUM EDUCATION WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School (HS) 2 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: NoneBACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

SALARY & BENEFITS
