Were looking for someone who brings clarity to complexity enjoys fostering strategic dialogue and knows how to navigate diverse stakeholder priorities with confidence and tact.
As a The Procurement Category Specialist Packaging you will play a pivotal role in shaping Ingredions US/CA strategy for key packaging categoriesincluding pallets drums totes and secondary/tertiary packagingwith direct accountability for $15MM in annual spend.
As a core member of the Corporate Direct Strategic Sourcing team youll drive value creation by leading cross-functional sourcing efforts building strong supplier relationships and helping build and streamline processes in a dynamic evolving environment.
What you will do:
Develop and executethe USCA Packaging category strategy to drive measurable business results.
Align category goalswith broader business needs proactively resolving any strategic misalignments.
Collaborate cross-functionallywith Finance Legal and Operations to influence strategy using category expertise.
Lead financial processesincluding monthly cost forecasting savings reporting and strategic sourcing with P&L impact.
Manage supplier relationships including negotiations SRM development and ensuring delivery quality and cost targets.
Guide procurement teamsin daily strategic execution and provide data-driven recommendations based on spend analysis.
Monitor global market trendsand build risk management strategies to mitigate supply disruptions and ensure business continuity.
What you will bring:
Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management Engineering or related field
36 years of procurement/supply chain experience in complex environments
Hands-on expertise with SAP SAP Ariba Icertis and e-Sourcing tools
Proven record in sourcing and strategic cost reduction
Strong collaboration across functions with measurable results
Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-pressure culture
Strong analytical financial and communication skills

$81680.00-$108906.67 AnnualThis pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
