This position as part of the packaging organization enables the execution of projects that drive packaging excellence sustainable sustainability developments and growth through innovation and cost optimization.
This position is cross-functional in nature with high interaction and teamwork with several areas of the company such as Marketing Product development Procurement Manufacturing Quality and Logistics at the same time partnership with outside packaging vendors.
System management (Systems may change).
In SAP system creates P#s BOMs ECNs and uploads images / documentation as needed.
In AoDocs system initiate Dielines and P# costing flows as needed.
Issues Component Verification files or any additional document to ensure complete documentation.
In MDGM input requested packaging information
Issues process capability files for Post Launch Reviews .
Support the Pack Eng in packaging activities as needed.
Copacking process
Design secondary packaging materials for special packs needs considering consumer clients and manufacturing/logistics requirements
Guarantee needed alignment and approvals from stakeholders during all stages of the packaging development and implementation.
Responsible for guaranteeing the project time table for the packaging development and projects are delivered on time.
Responsible for providing the information requested by other areas (i.e: specs drawings protocols etc) allowing them to do their tasks.
Responsible for following packaging procedures identifying and elevating risks.
Define criteria for validation (according to protocols) KRS and specifications
Review dielines and drawings prior to share with new suppliers
Critical Success Factors (The critical success factors can change they will be part of the objectives)
Deliver the Marketing / New Products Grid
Deliver Packaging projects for special packs across categories
Support Packaging Engineers to Deliver FTG Goals and work to define a strong Pipeline for the upcoming 3-5 years
Collaborate with manufacturing and logistics in continuous improvement programs
Comply with local regulations and safety requirements
Comply with all procedures and documentation requested
Job Qualifications
Knowledge
Understanding of manufacturing processes (similar to CP)
Knowledge of packaging material design and packaging development
Knowledge on the experimental design process and statistics
Knowledge on SAP or similar systems Google workspace or similar systems Adobe Suite or similar systems.
Knowledge in project management (Use of SmartSheets or Microsoft Project desirable)
Intermediary english proficiency
Education
Bachelor degree in Engineering Packaging Industrial Design or similar
Experience
Experience in manufacturing companies.
Experience in packaging development
Experience managing projects.
