DESIGN ENGINEER
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development of new products based on customer needs
- Continuous communication with customers (OEM TIER1) regarding technical issues of development projects
- Collaboration with other departments (manufacturing sites local prototyping sales project management logistics quality)
- Proposing improvements and modifications to existing products
- Preparation of product documentation
- Planning ordering and analyzing tests in collaboration with our accredited test laboratory
- Introducing new materials as needed assisting in the preparation of raw material DVP
- Preparation of DFMEAs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- You have a technical degree in mechanical mechatronics or transportation engineering
- You have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role including design and customers communication
- You have experience in AutoCAD
- You must speak English and German
- You are a solution-oriented person with systematic mindset
- You are precise able to make decisions on your own
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- If you have automotive experience we consider these as an advantage
