This is a full-timeopportunity on a permanent basis. The role will be based in 10 South Colonnade Canary Wharf London E14 4PU. Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas.
Government departments and agencies are working towards implementing a minimum 60% attendance in office sites.
We are currently implementing a flexible hybrid way of working with a minimum of 8 days per month working on site to enable the collaboration and contact with partners and stakeholders needed to deliver MHRA business. Attendance on site is driven by business needs so depending on the nature of the role this can flex up to 12 days a month with the remainder of time worked either remotely or in the office. Some roles will need to be on site more regularly.

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency enhance and improve the health of millions of people every day through the effective regulation of medicines and medical devicesunderpinned by science and research.
The People function is part of the Corporate Group along with Finance Commercial and Infrastructure and Laboratory Services functions which are led by the Chief Finance Officer.
The Agencys People function has a headcount of 35 staff and is led by the Chief People Officer who is a member of the Unitary Board.

Whats the role
This is a key role within the People function delivering the full 360 recruitment cycle for designated client areas.
The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for all administrative aspects of the recruitment process and running campaigns providing an excellent pro-active recruitment service to recruiting managers and applicants as well as communicating and developing relationships with the assigned Groups and functions within the Agency external job boards/media and recruitment agencies. This role will be key in delivering an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
Key responsibilities:
To support the Recruitment Advisor in coordinating all recruitment within specified business areas building strong working relationships and knowledge within these areas.
To offer an excellent recruitment service to hiring managers advising on process and best practice ensuring adherence to all aspects of the recruitment policy and compliance with Civil Service Commission and legislative regulations.
Ensure a seamless recruitment experience for the hiring managers and candidates advising of improvements where necessary and appropriate.
Ensure that all pre-employment clearances for each candidate (Occupational Health Right to Work Work Permit etc) are sought and achieved efficiently and effectively and where issues are raised seek and provide consistent advice in accordance with employment legislation and best practice.
Who are we looking for
Oursuccessful candidatewill have:
Experience of recruitment and delivering a recruitment service either in-house or within an agency.
Strong demonstrable administrative and organisation skills
Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to draft accurate correspondence and to deal with a range of queries and issues in person and via correspondence.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to competing deadlines while taking a positive and open approach to change and encourage others to do the same.
