Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Sales Engineer professional with Emersons Branson Ultrasonics business based in Columbus OH! Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager the Territory Sales Engineer is a key member of Bransons Sales organization.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory by identifying qualifying and closing new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers distributors and partners.
  • Serve as the technical expert during sales presentations product demonstrations and customer meetings.
  • Understand customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their business needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering product management and customer support teams to address technical questions and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals quotations and presentations.
  • Track and report sales activities pipeline status and market trends.
  • Participate in trade shows industry events and customer visits to promote company products.
  • Know the latest industry developments competitor offerings and emerging technologies.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and objectives.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or related field preferred.
  • 5 Proven years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering preferably in manufacturing software or electronics.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex products and solutions.
  • Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mentality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
  • Experience with consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: We pay a competitive base salary within the local market in which we operate and reward performance during the annual merit review process. The total target comp range for this position is $85000 - $112000 annually commensurate with the skills talent capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
