What this job involves:

The Senior Facilities Manager role is responsible for overseeing assigned sites within JLLs owned and/or occupied portfolio while ensuring compliance with all local state and federal requirements. This position serves as the primary interface for third-party relationships and manages a team of Facility Management professionals to deliver exceptional facility services that align with client objectives and JLLs commitment to creating transformative real estate solutions.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Manage performance and outcomes of assigned facility management staff including career development planning and compensation oversight

Maintain relationships with third-party owners and landlords ensuring lease compliance accurate reporting and resolution of tenant relations issues

Prepare submit and manage facility budgets aligned with client goals while tracking variances and implementing recovery processes

Coordinate facility management services across assigned facilities and geography ensuring adherence to standard processes and procedures

Ensure compliance with portfolio-wide initiatives and required regulations for facility operations

Support collection of management fees and reimbursements from third-party tenants in owned premises

Execute staff succession planning and build actionable career development plans for direct reports

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education

8 years of relevant facility management experience

Strong leadership and relationship building skills with proven team management capabilities

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service

Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices

Proficiency in Excel with strong data analysis abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree

CPM RPA or CSM professional designation

Real estate license

Experience with portfolio-wide facility management initiatives

Strong interpersonal skills and advanced problem-solving ability
