Are you passionate about supporting young people in their learning journey Sacred Heart College is seeking committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Officers (LSOs) to join our Inclusion and Diversity team.
We have several part-time opportunities available in 2026 (0.520.86 FTE across 3 to 5 days per week). These positions are fixed term for the 2026 school year with potential to extend depending on government funding and student needs.

THE POSITIONAs a Learning Support Officer youll be an integral part of our team providing direct or indirect support to students to enhance their access to learning. You will work alongside teachers and the Inclusion and Diversity team to implement teacher-designed adjustments support student inclusion and contribute to a safe and empowering learning environment for all.
We would love to hear from candidates with:
Numeracy intervention experience or knowledge
Multilingual skills or lived experience from a culturally and linguistically diverse or refugee background
Experience supporting students with diverse or complex learning needs
A passion for inclusive education and student wellbeing
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and evaluation of student learning plans
Assist in inclusive classroom practices and differentiated instruction
Collaborate closely with teachers and Inclusion and Diversity staff
Attend excursions and activities to promote student inclusion
Maintain confidentiality and contribute to a child-safe learning environment

Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience working with young people (desirable)
Relevant Certificate III or equivalent experience (desirable)
All employees are subject to appropriate employment and compliance checks prior to and during employment. This position requires a current Police Check Working with Children Check and drivers licence.
Classification for the role is ESS Level 2 in accordance with the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.
