Job Summary

The Marketing Media Project Specialist will lead multiple media projects assist with and help coordinate marketing and media plan efforts to promote Mountain America products and services. Working with the media and creative teams to assist with media trafficking project management reporting digital asset management and coordinating with business partners for communication needs.

SCHEDULE

Full Time

To be effective an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.

  • Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end member experience across multiple channels and member touch points.
  • Develops and maintains media performance dashboards.
  • Leads multiple projects concurrently and meets deadlines.
  • Builds relationships and maintains ongoing communications with media partners and media representatives.
  • Coordinates campaign assets with creative teams and channel managers.
  • Manages and coordinates digital screens systems for branch corporate and sponsor/partner outdoor LED and indoor screens and TVs.
  • Builds digital screen tracking sheets and reports.
  • Manges deadlines and communicate risks promptly.
  • Supports media team in planning executing and optimizing integrated media campaigns to meet campaign and organizational goals.
  • Partners with internal teams external media agency and media vendors to support planning for media channels including broadcast television broadcast radio out of home streaming and other media.
  • Assists with organizing tracking and trafficking media assets to stations vendors and partners.
  • Works with media stations and partners to collect data on campaign buys.
  • Conducts research on media platforms stations and other media opportunities.
  • Coordinates the rotation and the traffic of media spots.
  • Measures and reports campaign performance in a timely manner.
  • Tracks progress of all tasks for media projects within the project management software
  • Architects project plans showing stakeholders deliverables milestones and dependencies.
  • Assesses projects to determine which areas of the marketing department are needed and brings all parties into the planning process.
  • Adheres to industry best practice standards for project management.
  • Develops and nurtures strong collaborative working relationships with MACU project sponsors and marketing personnel.
  • Manages media projects from inception to completion including the organization of project teams to complete objectives.
  • Manages a variety of projects and ensures milestones are on track and deadlines are met
  • Leads and assists with presenting proposed media strategies and projected impact.
  • Conducts and presents competitive research.
  • Monitors media performance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS and ABILITIES

Education and Experience

  • Two or more years of professional experience with media trafficking buying or related field.
  • Four or more years of experience with an ad/creative agency and/or corporate marketing team.
  • Familiarity with banking/credit union products and services preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in English communication marketing advertising public relations digital media business or other related field or is working toward completing degree OR 2 additional years of related professional experience in lieu of a degree.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint
  • Explains detailed and complicated information to eliminate future calls by educating on self-service options

  • Develops multifunctional base level skills

  • Provides more detailed support to the team in media-related buying analytics and project management
