The Maricopa County Recorders office is responsible for recording all documents required by law to be made public record including documents related to real estate transactions. Since August 1999 we have accepted documents electronically and currently over 83% of all documents are submitted this way. We continue to remain at the forefront of e-government. Data including our first recording on June 5 1871 can be located on our website. We Require
- Three years of responsible clerical and/or administrative experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered in substitution for the minimum qualifications
We Also Value
- Associates Degree
- Three years of experience dealing with electronic records
- Two or more years of lead/supervisory experience
Job Contributions
- Provides specialized assistance with the operations and coordination of a program or operational function
- Monitors and tracks budgets and purchases
- Conducts research
- Coordinates program or operational processes
- Compiles fiscal or output/results records
- Creates and maintains records and databases
- Research operational issues and provide information and summaries to the supervisor
- Administers programs and processes specific to the department
- Assists in-person customers Kiosk customers emails and phone calls
- Assists account customers in all aspects of e-recording
- Assists with the record preservation process using M-Disc
- Provides specialized assistance with the operations and coordination of a program or operational function
- Acts as a liaison regarding administrative issues related to facilities operations research program support and provides information and summaries to the supervisor
- Assists management with staff training and scheduling
Working Conditions
- Working at a desk in an environmentally controlled office
