PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR MITES SATURDAYS MITES will oversee the administration and execution of the program with a collaborative team during the academic year. Responsibilities include logistics planning staffing training evaluation student recruitment and selection and communication and engagement with stakeholders such as parents students alumni vendors and speakers while adhering to the MIT policies regarding working with minors. The MITES Saturdays Program in MIT Introduction to Technology Engineering and Science within the MIT School of Engineering is a rigorous 16-session STEM enrichment program focused on exposing 135 7th-12th grade students from Boston Cambridge and Lawrence MA to science and engineering fields while supporting each to reach their highest academic potential.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in science engineering or education and a minimum of three years of related experience in program development program planning program coordination and/or education. PREFERRED: Masters degree or equivalent; experience at MIT; a minimum of one year managing program staff and direct reports; proven track record of fostering community belonging and respect in workplaces and academic settings; exceptional organizational attention to detail analytical project management and problem-solving skills; strong leadership and facilitation skills; strong written and interpersonal communication skills particularly in Spanish; and experienced with high school students and leading undergraduates graduate students and professionals.
This position has a varied schedule with evening and weekend hours including leading programmatic activities on Saturdays when the program is in session.
