We are seeking a (Social Worker) for a 13-weeks travel/contract assignment in Beverly MA 01915.
- Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
- Shift: Day Shift(8) - 8:00 start
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2080 - $2200; (Negotiable based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for patients upon admission.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to patient needs and diagnoses.
- Initiate and coordinate discharge and aftercare planning ensuring continuity of care through appropriate referrals to community resources and support systems.
- Maintain regular communication with patients families and community agencies to support patient progress and reintegration.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed in high-stress situations.
- Participate in treatment team meetings contributing clinical input to care planning.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Current Massachusetts Social Work licensure (LCSW or LICSW) required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a behavioral health setting (preferred)
- Experience with protective services child welfare long-term care crisis intervention chronic illness hospice care substance use disorders and psychiatric illnesses is a plus
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) especially EPIC
- Experience in individual case management and familiarity with managed care systems
- Trained in de-escalation and restraint management techniques
- Skilled in Motivational Interviewing and short-term treatment approaches
- Ability to provide brief family interventions when needed
- Strong assessment and evaluation capabilities for developing treatment plans
- Excellent communication listening and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Adaptable and flexible in fast-paced environments
