Essential Job Duties

We are hiring a Construction Low Voltage Special Systems Project Manager (LVSS PM)/ PM II to work with the Development and Improvement Program on Renovation and Reconstruction (R&R) and manage signage design concepts installation and activation and is responsible for driving and overseeing design and execution of all IT special systems and technology systems for the R&R project.

• The R&R LVSS PM provides oversight of the design-builders design and execution of IT disciplines per client standards.
• They shall report to the R&R Project Manager.
• The job site covers the full demolition and rebuild of the headhouse and concourse as well as various enabling scopes to vacate the existing building.

This position will act as the primary IT liaison and owner representative responsible for the R&R project.

Primarily this role/individual shall act as a liaison between the project and Information Management & Technology (IMT) and manages the details required to execute this e ort and rollout without impact on the active job site operations. Successful candidates shall display experience with large stakeholder infaces ensuring inclusion while understanding and driving the small details that go into signage design concepts installation and activation.

• Ability to assemble KPIs and decisions needed for Governance and presentation to others including the executive sta
• Maintaining an excellent working relationship with the design and construction professionals geared towards open communications and mutual problem solving in the best interest of the project and all other parties involved
• Developing and maintaining a high level of team morale through professionalism that re ects well on the project team external stakeholders and internal stakeholders

Duties:

• Primary liaison with ITM representative responsible for directing and managing the IT implementation
• Responsible for scope development and scope management of the project to meet project goals and objectives
• Develop the RFP and oversee the procurement process for designers and contractors
• Providing direction and management for assigned project and ensuring on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations
• Planning and de ning program goals and devising methods to accomplish them developing in- depth knowledge of owner objectives contract terms and airport policies
• Planning directing supervising and controlling the execution of all technical scal and administrative functions of the IT portion of the R&R project
• Working with team members and airport management to develop budgets schedules and plan for the various elements of a project
• Oversees owners sta that manages full project delivery including stakeholder interfaces Managing project scope to meet or exceed project goals and objectives
• Abilities to identify and study options to complex design operational or constructability issues
• Ability to conduct eld surveys and investigations to capture detailed and accurate eld conditions.
  • This information shall be used to enable strategic design and construction decisions
• Maintaining documentation on the approved scope of work for the project to include all related agreements authorizations reports drawings and speci cations
• This documentation shall include narratives for all scopes of work as well as a coordinated CAD representation including all projects for key disciplines
• Coordinating with other R&R Design Managers on:
  • Resolution of technical design issues
  • Issuing design non-compliances
  • Issuing eld non-conformances timely processing of RFIs
  • Coordinating shop drawing reviews
  • Participation in and approval of factory and site acceptance tests
  • Coordinating material approvals coordinating mockup approvals
  • Providing reports drawings and speci cation interpretation
  • Participation in testing and commissioning activities
  • Managing the punch list process and other activities as required to ensure the design process supports the project goals
• Coordinating with the R&R Sr. Design Manager who will be managing the Design Review Team (DRT) design review process for assigned project(s) through all phases of design including signi cant design changes during construction
• Monitoring and leading e orts related to the permitting process required by the design team and contractor
• Overseeing the construction process to remove and mitigate obstacles that cause ine ciencies to the construction process
• Becoming thoroughly familiar with required contractual obligations and technical aspects of all facilities to be erected
• Ensuring all work is being performed with and inspected to the latest versions of plans and speci cations including approved changes submittals and RFIs
• Working with designers contractors and stakeholders to develop the overall planning of construction activities and identifying critical milestones and priorities
• Keeping alert to possible problem areas and taking preventative action to ensure critical milestones are met for each phase of the project
• Ensuring the use of safe and sound construction practices
• Preparing reports summarizing progress of construction activities for senior management
• Reviewing change proposals for contractual compliance and alignment with fair market value
• Preparing a monthly risk report for the Program Board
• Monitoring adherence to Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan and other documents as required and promoting excellence on the project through the application of Quality Assurance processes
• Enforcing the program requirements for all areas of the project and monitoring the draft and nal deliverables for adherence to these criteria
• Reviewing pay applications to ensure proper veri cation of completed work and compliance with contract requirements
• Working with the key project individual to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays or to accommodate signi cant changes to the scope of work
• Assuring that current and timely change orders are documented and administered properly
• Participating in all necessary coordination meeting with designer contractor and stakeholders
• Managing the closeout process to ensure all documentation is completed as quickly as possible to e ciently close the project without incurring unnecessary costs
• Safety performance well above industry standards
• Providing technical review of changes to scope of work for each project
• Establishing IT submittal approval procedures and ensure uniformity of review approach
• Auditing project team IT comments and designer responses
• Providing guidance related to the functional requirements contained in the technical speci cations or other project documents supplied by client
• Monitoring BIM productions of IT designers and contractors according to client BIM Standards the BIM Execution Plan and needs of the R&R project.
• Providing technical support and coordination between the R&R project team and other project teams for program consistency across all disciplines
• Providing technical Support for adjacent client projects as required to ensure accurate interface
• Providing technical coordination for project consistency across all disciplines
• Assisting with preparing and reviewing brie ngs meeting agendas and supporting materials for various meetings including Board presentations Steering Committee meeting Stakeholder outreach and other meetings

Qualifications

Required Qualification:- Years of Experience/Education/Certificates/Training:

• 10 years or more experience preferably on airport projects
• Bachelors degree in Architecture Aviation Business Engineering Construction Management Planning or other related technical eld required
• Experience with projects more than $50 million in value.
• Experience with various delivery methods including Design-Bid-Build DesignCMAR and Design/Build
• Proven ability to perform in a management capacity
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
• Pro cient in Microsoft O ce Suite and Bluebeam
• Optional certi cations may include AAAE LEED PE PMP AICP or any other relevant professional license or certi cations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work in CAD or REVIT preferred
• Masters degree preferred

Wage Requirement

• Starting Salary range for this job is $149025.00 - $171390.00. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill education experience and working environment
