Job Description:
The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns conducting thorough tax research ensuring full compliance with federal state and local tax regulations and providing strategic tax planning and advisory support to optimize compliance and efficiency.
Requirements:

Expertise in preparing individual corporate partnership and fiduciary tax returns (knowledge of Ultratax a plus).

Proficiency in tax research with the ability to stay current on evolving tax laws and regulations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.

Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Proficiency with QuickBooks (experience with Intacct is an additional plus).

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Bachelors degree in Accounting required (CPA certification preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of tax accounting experience in a public accounting firm.
