About the Opportunity

Our client a well-established civil litigation defense law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation particularly with defense experience. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex cases collaborate with seasoned trial attorneys and manage your own caseload in a supportive team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Handle the full spectrum of civil litigation defense cases from inception through trial.
Conduct factual investigations draft pleadings and manage discovery.
Take and defend depositions prepare witnesses and participate in hearings.
Draft and argue complex motions including dispositive and pre-trial motions.
Actively participate in civil jury trials as part of the trial team.
Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy while exercising independent judgment and decision-making.

Qualifications

Admission to the Florida Bar (active and in good standing).
1 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation with defense experience preferred.
Strong academic background.
Practical experience in case management and all phases of civil litigation.
Ability to manage workload independently and make sound decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
