Job Summary
Manages daily operations in the injection molding department. Oversees a team of machine operators and technicians to ensure safe efficient and high-quality production. Responsible for scheduling team leadership process stability and driving improvements. Works closely with Maintenance Engineering Quality and other departments to meet production goals.
Qualifications :
- Technical or trade background in plastics manufacturing or a related field
- Advanced training (e.g. process technician supervisor or journeyman level)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in injection molding with at least 2 in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of injection molding machines tooling materials and troubleshooting
- Experience with production planning team scheduling and performance management
- Proficient in MES/ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Good written and verbal communication in English
Additional Information :
- Leads daily team meetings and shift handovers
- Oversees mold changes machine setup and production monitoring
- Ensures compliance with 5S safety and quality standards
- Tracks and reports KPIs (e.g. scrap rate cycle time downtime efficiency)
- Coordinates with maintenance for planned and unplanned downtime
- Supports audits and leads team training and cross-training
- Participates in CAPEX planning process improvements and problem-solving activities
- Builds a strong engaged team culture focused on accountability and results
- KPIs defined individually based on personal goals.
- Work involves routine and standardized tasks with growing independence depending on complexity.
