Job Summary
As a Pool Operator at Basin Glacial Waters our brand new Thermal Wellness Facility you are responsible for ensuring the safe efficient and luxurious operation of our pools thermal baths and associated wellness water features. You will maintain exceptional water quality and system performance while upholding the brands high standards for guest safety wellness and satisfaction.

Pay Rate: $22.44/hour
Start Date: September 2025
Job Duties Include:
- Maintain equipment for spa operations including pool equipment pool basement and water treatment for all bodies of water within the spa and aquatic facility
- Conduct daily inspections of all pools for water clarity water levels and cleanliness
- Maintain the facility in peak operating condition at all times by reporting maintenance concerns ensuring the work area is impeccably clean deep cleaning pool projects daily and weekly pool cleaning requirements for our 11 bodies of water
- Assisting the Spa Attending team with facility cleanliness and interact with guests and members utilizing our facility
- To maintain inventory of pool chemicals testing agents other pool related products for the operation of the facility
- To maintain accurate records of all water test readings as required by provincial regulations and to adjust chemicals based on tests to ensure the safety of all bodies of water for our guests
Qualifications :
- Aquatic Facility Operator certification Level II approved by Govt of Alberta in coordination with Alberta Association of Recreation Facility Personnel (AARFP)
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- Maintenance background is an asset
